A Dodge battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your auto.It is also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its main goal would be to start the Dodge engine.
The alternator supplies electricity for the auto, once the engine is operating.
Normally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to discharge a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, plus a complete discharge can decrease the battery’s lifespan.
