A Mazda battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your automobile.It is also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its main objective will be to start the Mazda engine.
The alternator supplies electricity for the Mazda, once the engine is operating.
Commonly, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to discharge a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, and also a total discharge can decrease the lifespan of the battery.
