A Dodge battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your automobile.It is also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its chief objective would be to start the Dodge engine.
The alternator supplies power for the auto once the engine is operating.
Generally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to discharge a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, along with the battery’s lifespan can be reduced by a complete discharge.
