A Honda battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your auto.It is also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its chief goal will be to start the Honda engine.
Power for the car is provided by the alternator once the engine is operating.
Generally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to discharge a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, along with the battery’s lifespan can be reduced by a total discharge.
