A Hyundai battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your auto.It’s also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its main objective will be to start the Hyundai engine.
Once the Hyundai engine is operating, power for the car is provided by the alternator.
Commonly, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to release a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, and the battery’s lifespan can be reduced by a complete discharge.
