A Nissan battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your auto.It’s also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its chief objective will be to start the Nissan engine.
Once the engine is operating, the alternator supplies power for the auto.
Typically, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to release a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, plus a complete discharge can decrease the battery’s lifespan.
