Description
The Honda fuel system consists of the gas tank, fuel pump, gas lines, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.Hondas run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The gas system stores and delivers fuel to the cylinders where it’s vaporized, mixed with air and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press back on your Honda’s gas pedal, then you control. The pedal tell the valve how much air to let in while the computer controls amount of gas.
The gas is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited by the spark plug, producing a clean burn which powers the Honda.
Keeping the fuel in the vehicle clean is quite important.
Come in to have your Honda’s fuel filter removed and replaced with a new one that meets the recommendations of your manufacturer.
