The BMW fuel system consists of the gas tank, fuel pump, gas lines, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.BMWs run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The gas system stores and delivers fuel to the cylinders where it is vaporized, mixed with air and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press down on your BMW’s gas pedal, then you control. The pedal tell the valve while the computer controls quantity of fuel, much air to let in.
The mixed fuel is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited by the plug, making a clean burn which powers the BMW.
