A Dodge battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your automobile.It is also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its principal purpose would be to start the Dodge engine.
Once the Dodge engine is running, power for the auto is furnished by the alternator.
Normally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to release a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, plus the battery’s lifespan can be reduced by a complete discharge.
