A Audi battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your automobile.It’s also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its main objective will be to start the Audi engine.
Once the Audi engine is operating, power for the auto is supplied by the alternator.
Typically, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to discharge a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, and also the lifespan of the Audi battery can be reduced by a full discharge.
