Description
A Dodge battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your auto.It is also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its principal objective will be to start the Dodge engine.
The alternator supplies electricity for the car once the engine is operating.
Generally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to release a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, plus a complete discharge can decrease the lifespan of the battery.
