A Dodge battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your auto.It’s also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its principal objective will be to start the Dodge engine.
Once the engine is running, the alternator supplies power for the car.
Typically, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to discharge a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, as well as the lifespan of the Dodge battery can be reduced by a full discharge.
