A Lexus battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your automobile.It is also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its primary purpose would be to start the Lexus engine.
The alternator supplies power for the car once the engine is running.
Normally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to release a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, as well as the lifespan of the Lexus battery can be reduced by a complete discharge.
