A Dodge battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your auto.It’s also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its primary objective is to start the Dodge engine.
Power for the auto is provided by the alternator once the engine is operating.
Typically, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to release a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, plus the lifespan of the Dodge battery can be reduced by a total discharge.
