A Honda battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your auto.It’s also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its chief purpose would be to start the Honda engine.
Once the engine is operating, the alternator supplies electricity for the car.
Generally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to release a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, as well as the lifespan of the Honda battery can be reduced by a total discharge.
