The Ford fuel system consists of the combustion chamber, fuel pump, gas lines, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the gas tank.Fords run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The gas system stores and delivers fuel to the cylinders where it is vaporized, mixed with air and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press down on your Ford’s gas pedal, you control. The pedal tell the valve while the computer controls quantity of fuel, air that is much to let in.
The mixed fuel is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited from the spark plug, producing a clean burn that powers the Ford.
