The GM fuel system contains gas lines, fuel pump, the gas tank, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.GMs run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The gas system stores and delivers where it’s vaporized fuel to the cylinders, combined with air and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press down on your GM’s gas pedal, you control. The pedal tell the valve air that is much to let in while the computer controls quantity of fuel.
The mixed gas is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited by the plug, making a clean burn which powers the GM.
Maintaining the fuel in the vehicle clean is quite important.
