The GM fuel system contains gas lines, fuel pump, the gas tank, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.GMs run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The gas system stores and delivers where it is vaporized fuel to the cylinders, combined with air and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press back on your GM’s gas pedal, you control the quantity of air and fuel that the engine takes in. The pedal tell the valve while the computer controls quantity of fuel air to let in.
The gas is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited by the spark plug, making a clean burn which powers the GM.
Maintaining the fuel in the vehicle clean is quite important.
Come in to have your GM’s fuel filter removed and replaced with a new one that meets the recommendations of your manufacturer.
