Description
The Dodge fuel system contains the gas tank, fuel pump, gas lines, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.Dodges run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The fuel system stores and delivers fuel to the cylinders where it’s vaporized, mixed with air and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press back on your Dodge’s gas pedal, you control the amount of air and fuel that the engine takes in. The pedal tell the valve.
The mixed gas is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited from the spark plug, producing a clean burn that powers the Dodge.
Keeping the fuel in the vehicle clean is quite important.
Come in to have your Dodge’s gas filter removed and replaced with a new one that meets your manufacturer’s recommendations.
